§ 1 What a cookie is, and what we do with them
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep, so that it can recognise the browser later. We do not ask your browser to keep anything.
§ 2 What this site does not use
- no first-party cookies of any kind;
- no local storage, session storage or IndexedDB;
- no device or browser fingerprinting;
- no analytics, measurement or heat-mapping;
- no advertising, remarketing or conversion tags;
- no third-party scripts, embeds, fonts or content delivery networks.
Type, images and the stylesheet are all served from skrullz.com, so loading a page here does not make a request to any other company.
§ 3 The one thing that is not ours
Our network provider operates bot protection in front of the site. Where that protection is active it may set a single strictly necessary cookie, commonly named __cf_bm, which expires after about thirty minutes and exists only to tell automated traffic from human traffic. It is not used for advertising, it is not used to profile you, and it carries no identifier we can read or act on.
This kind of cookie is strictly necessary for security and, under the ePrivacy rules, does not require consent.
§ 4 Why there is no banner
Consent banners exist because a site wants to store something on your device that it does not strictly need. This site does not store anything. A banner would be theatre, so there is not one.
§ 5 Controlling cookies anyway
Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies from its settings or preferences, usually under “Privacy”. Blocking them will not affect this site, because it does not use any.
§ 6 Our products
Our applications and product websites are separate and may use cookies or local storage where they need to — to keep you signed in, for example. Each one says what it uses in its own notice. See section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
§ 7 Changes
If this ever stops being true, this page changes first, and the effective date at the top changes with it.
